SUMMER STROLLS

Monday 14 July - The beauty of Cookham through Spencer's eyes
A longer walk, covering just over four miles and taking approximately two and a half hours. This walk will be a pleasant stroll through the Cookham countryside, learning about Spencer’s favourite views and the locations of some of his paintings.
The walk costs £10, with a small booking fee, with free entry to the Gallery on the day of the walk. The walk will be led by Gallery archivist Ann Danks.

Monday 8th September - Stanley's "Village in Heaven"
On Monday 8th, there is another chance to walk through the wonderful Cookham countryside following in the footsteps of Stanley Spencer and finding where he found inspiration for some of his much-loved works. The walk will start from the Gallery at 10.00am, and take approximately 2.5 hours.
The walk costs £10, with a small booking fee, with free entry to the Gallery on the day of the walk. The walk will be led by Gallery archivist Ann Danks.

Monday 29th September -A short guided walk around the Village
This walk covers the story of Stanley’s life as we walk around Cookham village, and see the sites of some of his most famous paintings. This will start at the Gallery at 10.30am.
