Our volunteers have been unpacking loans, climbing up and down ladders and hanging the artworks as we prepare for the new exhibition.

 

This summer we are celebrating the work of Stanley Spencer’s brother, Gilbert Spencer. The exhibition will explore Gilbert Spencer’s identity as an artist, with loans from private collections and Tate. Comparative works by Stanley are also on display, demonstrating the brothers’ unified vision, and their rivalry.

 

The exhibition runs from 28 March to 3 November 2024 from 10.30am – 4:30pm daily. Tickets available upon arrival.
